These are National Recycling’s own buying rates, not a market average scraped from somewhere else. Non-ferrous rates move with the LME every day. Everything else we set by hand and date honestly.

How these rates work
Where do these numbers come from?
Copper, brass, aluminium, zinc, lead and nickel are calculated daily from live London Metal Exchange pricing, converted to rupees per kilogram, then adjusted by the discount scrap carries against refined metal. Iron, steel, stainless, e-waste, batteries, paper and plastic have no public index in India, so we set those by hand and show you when we last changed them.
Why is the rate I am offered sometimes different?
Grade and contamination. Bright clean copper wire prices very differently from burnt or insulated wire, and mixed loads price to their worst component. Weight, distance and how much sorting we have to do also move the number. The rates here are the honest starting point, not a fixed price list.
Do you charge for pickup?
No. For business quantities we pay you for the material and handle collection, loading and transport at our cost.
What is the minimum quantity?
We are set up for business volumes rather than household quantities. Send us what you have and we will confirm whether it clears our pickup minimum.
How often do the rates change?
The LME-linked metals update every day automatically. The hand-set materials change when the market moves enough to matter, and the date against each one tells you exactly when that last happened.
