ACs and parts we buy
Selling several units? Put the count in the form below and we quote the whole lot.
What your old AC is made of
The value of a non-working AC is in its copper coil and piping, its aluminium fins and its compressor. We price dead units against the metal market every day, which is why our AC prices are not a fixed list from last year.
Selling loose copper AC piping? It is bought by weight against today’s copper rate. See the copper rate calculator.

Sell Old AC in Mumbai: FAQs
Do you buy non-working ACs?
Yes. A dead AC is still worth its copper, aluminium and steel. We quote per unit or by weight before pickup.
Do you uninstall the AC?
We collect uninstalled units. Please have it removed by a technician first, and tell us if it is still on the wall when you message.
How do I get the best price for my old AC?
Send photos of both units and the label, and keep the indoor and outdoor units together. Working units with a readable label get the most accurate quote.
Do you buy old ACs from offices?
Yes. Offices, shops and housing societies can sell several units in one pickup, with a Certificate of Recycling on request.
What happens to the gas in an old AC?
Old units go to authorised recycling facilities, where refrigerant and metals are recovered under the e-waste rules.
How much is an old 1.5 ton split AC worth in Mumbai?
It depends mostly on whether it works. The price table on this page shows our typical ranges for dead and working 1.5 ton split ACs. A photo of both units and the label gets you a firm number the same working day.
Is a window AC worth less than a split AC?
Usually a little less when dead, because it has a smaller coil and one body instead of two. Working window ACs still sell well in older buildings with window cut-outs.
Do you buy just the outdoor unit or the compressor?
Yes. Outdoor units are priced on their compressor, coil and fan motor. Loose compressors and copper piping are bought by weight.
Why does the price of a dead AC change?
A dead AC is valued for its copper and aluminium, and those metals change price every day. We update our quotes with the market rather than using a fixed list.
