Wire Trade Partner Programme

For wire traders, contractors & electricians

Keep the margin. Lose the risk.

Mumbai’s wire resale trade makes real money, but a lot of it runs on unbilled stock of unclear origin, and the risk lands on whoever is holding the coils. The Trade Partner Programme gives you the same margin from clean stock, with bills you can show any customer.

Live scrap metal rates, Mumbai (indicative)
Copper scrap₹1,151–₹1,273/kg
Brass scrap₹793–₹877/kg
Aluminium scrap₹190–₹210/kg

Updated 3 November 2026. Surplus new wire is priced above scrap, by brand and size. See copper wire rates today and how wire pricing works.

Three ways to earn with us

Refer

Bring us builder surplus

You know which sites are finishing and who has leftover stock. Introduce us to the builder or contractor who owns it. When they sell to us with their paperwork, you earn a referral fee on the lot.

Buy

Trade price on verified stock

Partners get first look at incoming surplus lots at trade price, with a GST bill. Resell to your own customers with a clean invoice behind you.

Sell

Clear your billed stock

Slow-moving sizes, old packaging, odd colours. If it’s billed to you, we’ll buy it, and anything unsellable goes at the live copper rate.

Why a GST bill is worth more than a bigger discount

  • Bigger customers. Companies, societies and contractors who need invoices for their accounts cannot buy unbilled stock. A bill opens them up.
  • No questions about origin. Stock bought from a known owner with paperwork can be sold openly, advertised and delivered without worry.
  • No fake-wire exposure. Counterfeit coils circulate in the same channels as grey stock. Verified stock removes that risk.
  • Input credit. If you’re GST registered, the tax on your purchase can flow through. We can point you to help with registration if you’re not.

The one rule

We only deal in stock whose owner can be shown. We don’t buy, and won’t pay referral fees on, wire taken from a site by anyone other than its owner. Unused wire on a construction site belongs to the builder who paid for it, and buying it from someone else is treated in law as receiving stolen property, for the buyer as well as the seller. Read the legal guide. If you’re sitting on leftover site stock, the right move is to point us to the owner: they sell, you earn the referral, and everyone is clean.

How the referral works

  1. Tell us about the site. Builder or contractor name, rough quantity, contact person.
  2. We approach the owner and inspect, naming you as the introducer if you wish.
  3. The owner sells to us against their invoice, paid by bank transfer.
  4. You get paid your referral fee once the lot is bought, by bank transfer with a proper record.

Frequently asked questions

Who can join the trade partner programme?

Wire and electrical traders, electrical contractors, electricians, site supervisors and scrap dealers in Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai.

How is the referral fee paid?

By bank transfer once the owner's lot has been bought, at a rate agreed before the deal, with a proper record for both sides.

Do I need GST registration?

Not for referrals. To buy stock at trade price for resale, GST registration helps you pass on input credit and sell to bigger customers.

Will you buy wire without a bill?

Only from someone who can show they own it. We do not buy wire taken from a site by anyone other than its owner.

I have leftover wire from a job I worked on. Can I sell it?

If the client paid for it, it belongs to the client. Introduce us to them instead: they sell officially and you earn the referral fee.

Brand names such as Polycab, KEI, RR Kabel, Finolex and Havells belong to their owners. National Recycling Co. is not an authorised dealer or distributor of any wire brand and is not affiliated with them. We buy surplus only from its documented owner.
